World Diabetes Day

Hello!
 

November is diabetes awareness month and the 14th of November is considered as the World Diabetes Day. To support people suffering from the disease, some friends and I decide to wear a blue manicure on this special day since blue is the color that symbolize diabetes awareness. I posted this information on my FB page and a lot of people found the idea nice and agreed to wear blue today. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who are supporting diabetic people!

I chose to wear China Glaze Electric Beat that I received from the lovely Alaina of The Brrrds Nest as a base color. This polish is a one coater with a fantastic formula. It's very easy to apply. And I topped it with 1-1/2 coat of Lynnderella The Bride Turned Blue.

According to Lynnderella, The Bride Turned Blue is a new version of The Bride of Franken and contains electric blue multi-sized glitter (like the flaky glitter from Maybelline Colorama Lights of Lilac) with holographic rainbow dust, pink and blue sparks in a sheer periwinkle base. This polish is amazingly gorgeous! It's a bit difficult to show on pictures all its depth and awesomeness. It would be easier to see in over a darker color. Nevertheless, it looks amazing in real life! Some glitters look a bit yellow on my pictures. They are not yellow but iridescent. They somehow turn yellow when photographed.

Dollish Polish!

Hello!

I have a haul post today! I had the opportunity to buy some Dollish Polish some time ago but I realized I haven't shown them (except for Hylian Princess that you can see here) yet. In fact I have this post in my draft for several weeks and I don't know why I haven't posted it yet...
By the way, have you heard Dollish Polishes will also be sold at Llarowe? So this post is a way to celebrate it!
Without further ado here are 7 minis I bought :D

Hylian Princess (swatched here) and The Hero Of Time are part of the Zelda duo polishes! Yes, you heard it well, Zelda inspired polishes!! I'm such a Zelda fan, I couldn't pass on these ones! And I also love the Mario polish!! yeah, yeah, I'm also a Super Mario fan as well!! Urban Camo has matte yellow micro glitters!

Drop. Your. Sword. is a creamy baby blue polish packed with gold glitters. Heart of Glass is a crazyily gorgeous holo glitter polish. It looks amazing in the sun! And Expecto Patronum is a creamy polish with teal glitters.

These Tony Moly polishes are part of their Galaxy collection! I love these polishes so much!! They look super pretty!! They are really creamy so it's difficult to take close up pictures of the glitters.

Innisfree 봄녹차 요거트 82, and Sasatinnie.

Innisfree is the brand that calls their polishes packed with glitters in a creme base "yogurt polishes" lol.  And this Sasatinnie is a gorgeous flakie polish!

Lac Attack - Rydell Forever

Hello!!

I got another gorgeous Lac Attack polish to show. It's Rydell Forever! This polish was inspired by Grease, the musical, in the same way as other polishes from Lac Attack that you can see here. 

Rydell Forever is a red and white glitter inspired by Rydell High's school colors. This polish is jam packed with red and white hexes and bar glitters - perfect for showing off school spirit or your love for Grease.

For this manicure, I layered one coat of Rydell forever over 2 coats of OPI DS Coronation. You can see swatches of DS Coronation here.

Final verdict: Rydell Forever by Lac Attack is a gorgeous glitter polish packed with large red and white hexagonal and bar gliltters. The formula of the polish is nice, the glitters are well suspended in the base and do not sink at the bottom of the bottle and application was easy. I had some of the red bar glitters that curled a little while applying them but I gently pushed them down with an orange stick and they did remain flat afterwards. I wore this manicure for 4 days and I didn't have any of the glitters that curled any more! So eventually that was not a problem. I love how simple yet intersting this polish look and especially love it with OPI DS Coronation.

Hylian Princess

Hello!!

Here is my first Dollish Polish and it's called Hylian Princess. If you're a Nintendo fan, you'll probably know who this polish is refering to! Yeah, it's Princess Zelda! I'm a huge Nintendo fan and Shigeru Miamoto is my god, so imagine how thrilled I was when I heard Dollish Polish was making a Zelda Duo! The other polish from this duo is called The Hero of Time.

I layered 1 coat of Hylian Princess over 2 coats of A-England Iseult. You can see my full review of Iseult here.

Final verdict: Hylian Princess is a clear polish packed with so many gorgeous glitters. There are royal purple, dark purple (rather blurple), gold, and white glitters in different sizes and shapes including hexagonals and square glitters. I really love these colors together and the gold glitters make a very nice addition, and of course they are the colors of Zelda. That's also why I chose a light pink for my base color. It was easy to work with this polish and you can get a good amount of glitters with one coat (that's what I'm wearing here). So this polish is a total winner!!

Nail Mail - HazeGlaze, Glitter Gal

Hello!

This is a quick post to show you my new babies! Swatches will come soon so stay tuned!

I received 4 polishes from HazeGlaze to review. HazeGlaze is an indie brand created by a lovely lady called Hazelle. You can purchase them from her etsy shop here. These polishes look gorgeous, don't they? :D

I got the Wicked Glitter Nail Polish Trio (the first 3 from the left) and another one called Texas Walrus that has not been released yet.

I am really looking forward to trying these polishes. They look so pretty. And Texas Walrus is a gray polish! Yay~

OMG! Lizard Belly looks awesome IRL. I understand now why so many people are crazy about it! And I also love the large shimmery particle in Deep Green Sparkle and Green looks so holo!

Candeo Orchid

Hello!

I've got another Candeo polish to show you today. This is Orchid, a gorgeous fuchsia jelly packed with a multitude of glitters.

Orchid is described as

a shimmery fuchsia base, loaded with small copper, light purple, magenta, and large silver holographic hex glitters.

On the pictures below, I used 2 coats of Candeo - Orchid over bare nails (with base coat of course, and top coat).

Final verdict: Oh.my.god! This is my 2nd Candeo polish and I love it as much as the 1st one I've tried, Sprouse (you can see my review of this polish here). I love them so much that I've already passed another order!! Can you belive that on the pictures I didn't wear any base color. So what you see is Orchid by itself! It's a fuchsia jelly that is opaque in 2 coats. In fact, it was nearly opaque in 1 coat. I was blown away when I applied it and realized that it's a jelly but with a good opacity!! That might seem contradictory but here it is really the case! And because it is a jelly, the glitters are not eaten by the base but you can still see them very well!! Application was really easy. You can get a good amount of glitters on the brush, no need to go fishing for them and they spead well on the nails! This polish is really a treasure. Dare I say I want to lick my nails all the time when I'm wearing it because it's so yummy? oh yes, I dare!!
