Ozotic comparison: 502 vs 520

Hello!

I've an Ozotic comparison to show you today: 502 vs 520.
To see my full post for Ozotic 502, click here and for Ozotic 520, here.
I wanted to do this comparison because when I wanted to buy some Ozotic, I couldn't really tell the difference between those 2 according to the pictures I saw on the internet. So I hope this post will be useful for some of you :D

Final verdict: When they are side by side, they look completely different! 520 is warmer than 502.
520 shifts from rusty burgundy to red, to amber, to gold, and to orange while 502 shifts from  gold to orange, to a light red with a touch of pink in it. On these pictures, I used 2 coats of 520 and 3 coats of 502 to reach full opacity. I didn't use a black or dark base coat. Of course, you can do it to save polish and to get a slightly different effect.

Ozotic 520

Hello~

I go on with my Ozotic swatches! Today I have Ozotic 520 to show you. It's certainly one of my favorite Ozotic!
520 is described as a multichrome nail polish that shifts from rusty burgundy to red, to amber, to gold, and to orange.

Final verdict: I LOVE this polish from the deepest of my heart! 520's main base color is coppery red, which can shift to amber, gold, and orange. It's really stunning and it kinda reminds me of autumn leaves! The multichrome effect is a little less dramatic than in 504 or 505 or 506, but it's still present and gorgeous!
Its formula was great, not too thick nor too thin and it needs only 2 coats to be fully opaque! So here I just applied 2 coats over bar nails (over just a regular clear base coat should I say).

Ludurana multichrome: Fascinante

Hello~

I'm very excited to show you my first full mani with a Ludurana polish. Ludurana is a Brazilian brand and they just released an amazing collection called "Aurora Boreal". This collection is made of 6 holographic and 6 multichromes polishes. The brand is 3 Free (no formaldehyde, no toluene, no dibutyl phthalate).
In my previous post, I showed that you can actually stamp with Ludurana multichromes. At least I tried with Show but I guess it also works with the others.

Today, it's Fascinante's turn. Fascinante is a red-copper-orange-yellow multichrome polish!
All the pictures bellow were taken under articifial light except one in the sun (specified under the picture).

This picture is to show how sparkly Fascinante is! (picture taken in the sun)

Final verdict: It was the first time I tried a Ludurana polish and I must admit I was really pleased with the quality of this polish. It applied really easily and only 2 coats were needed to get full opacity! Yes, you heard  it well, it's a multichrome polish that doesn't require a dark base coat! Moreover, the shift in color is really strong and you can see a lot of different colors: carmine, brown red, red, copper, orange, and even yellow at some angles! The polish is also very shiny and sparkly. It sparkles a lot! So I'm super happy with this polish. It's a total win!! oh yeah...I forgot, the brush was also very nice! It's the same length as OPI's but a little thinner, very easy to work with.

Purchase info:
Ludurana polishes can be purchased from Llarowe. Each bottle contain 8 mL. Polishes from "Aurora Boreal" collection cost $14 each. Don't forget, Ludurana has also holographic and flakies polishes!

Zoya - Tiffany

Hello~

As I broke 2 nails on my swatching hand when I came back from holiday, I will show you pictures I took before........when my nails were all right ;D So I will have to wait a little before trying and showing my new polishes from Korea...saaaaaaad!!

But I have great stuff to show so it's also fun!

My nail of the day will be Tiffany from Zoya Fire & Ice Collection (Winter/Holiday 2010).  Tiffany is a peachy, coppery polish with a gorgeous gold shimmer and a foil finish. The color is a rather neutral color (not too much in your face) but the bright shimmer makes it more special and interesting. I like this kind of shades when you want something subtle yet unique.

Application was super easy, it's not too thick nor too thin. You get easily a smooth and even look.  So the formula of this polish was great. I applied 3 coats.

Tiffany (Zoya), 3 coats, without top coat

Tiffany (Zoya), 3 coats, without top coat, with flash. So sparkly!!!!!
Tiffany (Zoya), 2 coats, low sun. Really interesting texture.

*You can click on the pictures to enlarge them*

Final verdict: I ended up liking this polish a hundred times better than I tought I would. From the swatches and comments I saw I tought it was not that great but OMG I was really impressed by it and it's now among my favorites. I'm glad I ordered it. The color and finish are really interesting and was so easy to apply that I really love it.

Zoya Fire & Ice (Flame) Collection

Hi! I know I haven't post in awhile. I was sick for the past week and I'm finally feeling better. Still coughing and voice is still rasping but other than that I'm good. So forgive me :)

So anyways, today I have Zoya's new Fire & Ice Collection, which recently the collection's name was changed to Flame collection. This collection consists of 6 gorgeous colors with a foil like finish.

All pictures were taken under artificial light.

Tiffany a soft peachy copper shimmer

Gloria is a rosey pink shimmer

Crystal is a turquoise blue with gold flecks

Lisa is a red shimmer with reddish flecks

Sarah a magenta shimmer with red and pink flecks

Valerie is a plum purple with light purple flecks

Overall this collection is stunning. I loved all six shades, but my favorite has to be Crystal. I love how the orangey/gold/copper flecks work with the turquoise. Very unique color. Formula was the typical Zoya formaul, smooth and perfect in every way. All were under two coats.

And that's all I have for today!

OPI Burlesque Collection 2010

Happy Thanksgiving! Just want to say I am thankful for such a great family, my dog Bebe, my boyfriend, my friends, my readers, and of course to nail polish ;)

Today I have OPI's Burlesque collection to show you. I know you've probably seen these every where already, but I finally got around to swatching them. This collection consists of six shimmers and six glitters. I was a little iffy about getting the glitters, but I ended up getting them and I absolutely love them. They are so sparkly!!

The Shimmers

Rising Star

Tease-y Does It

Ali's Big Break

The Show Must Go On

Let Me Entertain You

Take the Stage

The Glitters

Show It and Glow It

Bring on the Bling

Extra-va-vaganza

Sparkle-icious

Glow Up Already

Simmer & Shimmer

I absolutely love this whole collection. The colors are great. The glitters are gorgeous. Job well done on this one OPI. All the shimmers were under 2 coats, and the glitters were in 3 coats for full coverage. There wasn't a single polish I didn't like.

Did anyone else enjoy the collection as much as I did?

Four New Sally Hansen for Fall 2010

Today I have four new Sally Hansen polishes for the Fall. I only chose the four that appealed to me most. And I'm loving all of them.

Evening Fog is a nude beige with gray undertones. Can safely say this is a greige but it's more beige than gray

Golden Ticket is a orange copper glitter. This one is my favorite. It was fully opaque in 2 coats but I did 3 for more depth

Sequin Scandal is a dark murky olive green shimmer. It's close to brown without sunlight but I love the shimmer

Fedora is a tan creme with silver flecks of silver shimmer. You can barely tell there's silver shimmer on the nail, but it's noticeable on the bottle

The application for these were good, not bad. I had a little problem with Fedora because the brush was a little mess up but other than that its fine.

So that's all I have for today!
